The COVID chaos continues! As you know, the demand for driving lessons went a bit bonkers after the lockdowns finished. The DVSA was and still is struggling to cope with the increased demand for tests whilst having to work at a slower pace necessary to maintain safety for the examiners and candidates alike. This is improving, but the backlog is huge so the long wait for tests is likely to persist for a while.
So test dates are really hard to get, and many who had dates cancelled in November and December are desperate to pass and get out on the road a.s.a.p.! More than ever, this means I will be prioritizing this group of pupils. So you know what to expect from now until roughly early February, I have my very own tier system:
Tier 1
Pupils with test dates booked in January.
Tier 2
Pupils with tests booked in February.
Tier 3
Newer pupils, pupils who have not yet passed the theory test and some that have but not yet booked test.
You know what tier you're in, and I will be doing lessons on the basis of greatest need first. This doesn't mean that tier 3 pupils won't get lessons, but it might only be every other week for a while, hopefully only until late Jan/early Feb.
